Over the past week, the 32 students in the Lakeshore Technical College/MHS Introduction to Horticulture class went through a rigorous application, resume, cover letter, speaker, interview, and negotiation process to earn the right to work/learn in the school greenhouse. This class has a strict business to classroom blend and is developing career skills that tie perfectly to highlight February being career and technical education month. After peer, self, and employer self-evaluation and some second interviews, 100% of students were hired. Congratulations to the following students who were selected as managers:
