Hello Everyone!
It is great to be in our art rooms, creating with our fantastic Mishicot art students!
Pumpkinfest is back, and once again Mishicot businesses will be displaying seasonal artwork
created by OHS students. Get ready for some new color to be added to the downtown!
The art department is currently in the planning stages of this year’s large-scale project-- a mixed
media piece inspired by the “Washed Ashore” sculptures that were recently displayed at the
Green Bay Botanical Gardens. “Washed Ashore” is a traveling art exhibit that utilizes trash that
has washed up on the west coast beaches of the U.S. to make sculptures of marine life that has
been impacted by plastic waste. More details on our art department’s project will be made available as the year progresses.
