PRESS RELEASE- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Board of Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Paul J Orlich as the new Superintendent of the School District of Mishicot.  At the February 12 school board meeting, Mr. Orlich was unanimously appointed to replace Dr. Lee Bush, who had served as Interim Superintendent.

Mr. Orlich will begin his new position March 1, 2018 as the School District of Mishicot’s new Superintendent and High School Principal. Mr. Orlich had held the position of High School Principal and Director of Instruction.  He has experience as a principal, assistant principal, dean of students, special education teacher, and mental health social worker.  Mr.  Orlich is currently completing his Ph.D.  in Educational Administration from Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He has received master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh as well as Marian University.  He received his undergraduate degree from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan.  Additionally Mr. Orlich is a combat veteran, having served in Iraq during 2007-2008 with the 101st Airborne Division and has since retired from military service.
