School and District Report Cards

We are pleased to share the results of our 2023-24 District Report Card from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI), where our district earned a score of 68.8, placing us in the "Meets Expectations" category. This score reflects our continued dedication to excellence in education, with our performance coming just 1.2 points shy of the "Exceeds Expectations" rating for the district.

In particular, we excelled in key academic areas. Our students scored 10 points above the state average in English Language Arts (ELA) and 8 points above the state average in Math, demonstrating the strength of our academic programs. Additionally, our attendance rates are excellent, reflecting the commitment of our students and families to active and engaged learning.

O.H. Schultz Elementary saw significant growth in academic achievement for students with disabilities, as well as continued strong numbers in attendance and 3rd grade ELA achievement.

Mishicot Middle School’s growth scores ranked in the top 8% of the state, and its "On Track to Graduation" indicator placed in the top 7%, showing our students are making remarkable progress.

Mishicot High School also made impressive strides, with an overall score increase of nearly 4 points. This improvement was driven by substantial gains in ELA achievement, underscoring the hard work of our students and educators. We continue to lead the state in participation in work-based learning, as well as more than double the state average in dual enrollment participation and earning industry-recognized credentials.

Note: The Post Secondary Preparation and Arts Course Information on the 2023-2024 state accountability report card is incomplete due to an error in the data transfer from our student information system to DPI. The data on that page should have looked like the table below:

We are committed to continuing this progress and working towards even higher scores in the future. Through fostering strong, positive relationships, promoting teacher collaboration, and providing all students with the resources and support they need to reach their full potential, we aim to meet and exceed the high standards our community values.

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in helping us provide the best education possible for all Mishicot students. Together, we are creating a bright future for our students and our community.
