Curriculum and Instruction
The School District of Mishicot is committed to providing all students with a high-quality, equitable educational experience from 4K through 12th grade. Teaching and learning in our schools is grounded in the Wisconsin State Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), ensuring that every student engages in rigorous, developmentally appropriate learning that prepares them for future success.
Our school counseling program is aligned with the Wisconsin Comprehensive School Counseling Model and guided by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) standards, supporting students’ academic, career, and social-emotional development throughout their educational journey.
This webpage provides access to grade-level and subject-area curriculum dashboards, which outline the learning targets, units of study, and key instructional practices occurring in classrooms across the district. These dashboards offer families, students, and staff a clear view of what students are learning and how instruction is designed.
You will also find descriptions of the common instructional practices used throughout our district, reflecting our commitment to research-based, student-centered teaching that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and meaningful learning.
Because we continually strive to meet the evolving needs of our students and educators, curriculum outlines are reviewed and updated annually and may be adjusted at any time.
