GOing on to high school can be scary and exciting. At the end of 8th grade students will write a letter to their high school adviser letting them know a little bit about themselves, their academic achievements, hobbies and goals for high school. Incoming freshman will be invited to an orientation day held in August shortly before the start of school.
Students in 6th grade will focus on getting to KNOW themselves, their school district, the Mishicot community and the surrounding communities. Activities and lessons provided to support this learning are listed below. Most field trips, community service and/or presentations are followed up with students being required to write a reflection on their experience.
