Youth Apprenticeship Program

Mishicot High School in partnership with CESA 7 provides Mishicot High School students with the opportunity to complete a Youth Apprenticeship during their junior and/or senior year of high school. Youth Apprenticeship is an intensive one- or two-year program which combines class work with work-based learning in a business or industry. Students who achieve the industry competencies earn a certificate of proficiency along with their high school diploma. The student's hands-on learning at the job site is combined with classroom instruction (either at the technical school or high school level) to help students make the connection between school and the world of work. Upon successful completion of 167 hours required by YA, students will earn elective credit.
