February is Career and Technical Education Month in the School District of Mishicot, and middle and high school students began the time by listening to invited presenters from area businesses.
Representatives from Parker, GKN Sinter Metals, Skana Aluminum and Jagemann Stamping spoke to students in grades 8-12.
The students learned about career opportunities available and how to make the most of their high school education.
Several other presentations on business, IT, finance, agriculture and health care are being held across the rest of the month.
