ICE AGE TRAIL ALLIANCE STICKMAN SCHOLARSHIP

Due Date: September 30, 2021

This $500 scholarship was originally funded by the Sherman family after Douglas’s passing and continues to be funded by other interested parties.  The one-time award is presented annually to a high school or first year college student who has made significant contributions to the mission of the IATA and whose dedication to the Trail sets an example for other youth and shows exceptional promise.

2021 FUTURE OF DAIRY SCHOLARSHIP

Due Date: October 31, 2021

This year, the company is pleased to be awarding $1,500 scholarships to three outstanding students who are studying for careers in the dairy industry. 

To apply for the scholarship, students must be at least 18 years of age and enrolled at an accredited institution of higher education for the 2021-2022 academic year in a program that can equip the student to contribute to the dairy industry. Students must also be current or former members of the 4-H or FFA organizations.

Students interested in applying must submit the following items with their application:

  1. An essay response (500 – 700 words): “What is certain in the dairy industry during these uncertain times?”

  2. A 1- to 2-page personal resume depicting previous leadership/organizational experience.

  3. A letter of recommendation from a 4-H or FFA advisor/leader/youth coordinator.

  4. A letter of recommendation from an academic advisor.

  5. A form of endorsement from a North American Lely Center.

Interested applicants can find the official rules and apply online by visiting Future of Dairy Scholarship.  Submissions will be accepted until October 31, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. CT. Winners will be notified on or before December 1, 2021. Winners will be publicly announced no later than December 21, 2021.

HAGAN SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION

Due Date: December 1, 2021

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship designed to help rural students graduate college debt-free. Recipients must have financial need and must graduate from one of over 6,000 eligible public high schools listed on the HSF website.

WISCONSIN PORK ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP

The Wisconsin Pork Association Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors pursuing post-high school education.  Preference is given to individuals who have been involved in, and posses a sincere interest in, the pork industry.

KOHLER CREDIT UNION

Due Date: March 14, 2022

  • The $10,000 scholarship will be awarded to students in renewable installments of $2,500 each school year for up to four years.

  • For each year the student maintains a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 in college, they will qualify for the renewable portion of the scholarship.

  • The scholarship is open to ALL majors.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Students or parents must be Kohler Credit Union members prior to January 1, 2022

  • Student must have a cumulative high school grade point of at least 3.25

  • Student must have definite plans to attend a 4-year college or university full-time in the state of Wisconsin.

  • Student must have a high school record that indicates achievement and high standards in scholarship, character, leadership, citizenship, and involvement in school and community activities.

The LTC Promise scholarship gives promising high school seniors in the Lakeshore community the opportunity to attend college by helping them access financial resources and enroll at LTC. By removing financial barriers, students who may not have had the opportunity will now be able to earn a degree and pursue a career. LTC promises to pay the balance of  tuition and fees for eligible students after federal and state grants have been applied.

UW-STEVENS POINT TRYTTEN SCHOLARSHIP

The Department of Chemistry at UWSP urges qualified students to apply for the Trytten Scholarship, awarded annually to an incoming freshman who intends to major in Chemistry or Biochemistry at UWSP. The scholarship is named after the late Professor Roland A. Trytten, long time faculty member and leader of the Department of Chemistry at UWSP. The total amount of the award is $4,000, applied to your UWSP tuition each semester in the amounts of $200 the Freshman year, $400 the Sophomore year, $600 the Junior year, and $800 the Senior year.

UW-STOUT SCHOLARSHIP

Have you worked hard in high school to keep your GPA high and crush the ACT? You deserve some recognition for that.

That’s why we’ve put together our Blue Devil Guarantee, every eligible new freshman will automatically receive one of these scholarships when they come to Stout.

To qualify for the Blue Devil Guarantee scholarships, you must be a new freshman student admitted to UW-Stout by the first Monday in February for the fall semester. If you improve your ACT/GPA, you can qualify for a higher scholarship! Submit your updated credentials no later than March 15.

UW-SUPERIOR SCHOLARSHIP
DUE DATE: DECEMBER 1, 2020 (FIRST ROUND); FEBRUARY 1 (SECOND ROUND)

Freshmen applicants who have submitted a scholarship application essay, who have a GPA of 3.00 and have an ACT of at least 21 will be considered for a Foundation scholarship. In certain cases and for certain awards, a lower ACT and/or lower GPA may be considered depending on the scholarship application essay.

Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis among this group. Award recipients usually have a strong high school curriculum and present an ACT score and/or class rank that is above these minimums.
