The School District of Mishicot will be closed beginning on Wednesday, March 18th through April 5th to comply with Governor Tony Evers executive order that all schools be closed. At this time school is scheduled to resume on April 6th. There will be school on Monday and Tuesday, March 16th and 17th. This will give students the opportunity to gather any school materials they will need to continue learning while at home. We will provide additional details as they become available. Late start on Friday, March 13: Congratulations to our girls’ basketball team for making it to the State Basketball Tournament! The girls will be playing Melrose-Mindoro on Thursday at 8:00 pm at the Resch Center. Knowing that we will have a large number of staff, students and families attending the game, we will be having a late start on Friday, March 13th. School will start 2 hours later allowing students and families the time to travel back safely without having the need to rush. Classes on Friday will start at 9:55 am.

FREE ACT Test prep The State of Wisconsin requires all students to take the ACT and WorkKeys Assessments in February of their junior year. This is a high stakes test as it is one measure that colleges use for the admissions process. This year ACT has launched a FREE resource to prepare for the ACT called ACT Academy. WIAA volleyball tournament game Brillion will host Mishicot on Tuesday Oct. 16th at 7pm at Brillion High School in the WIAA regional quarter final match. Doors will open at 6pm. Tickets are $5.00 for students K-12 and adults. Under age 6 are free. The winner of Brillion vs. Mishicot will play the winner of Southern Door vs Sevastopol match, on Thursday Oct. 18th at 7pm. Training was provided by First Technologies owner, Bob Werner. Several examples of items that can be created using the laser engraver.

Attention 9th grade families: Our Chromebooks have been delivered! We are however still awaiting the arrival of the protective cases, which should be here by the end of the month. We are going to distribute the devices on the first day of school. If you will be providing your own device, the expectation is you will bring it with to school on the first day. Football Fans: The first varsity football game is Friday, August 18th @ 7:00pm. The game will be played at Lakeland University. We will need at least 30 students to ride the bus.
