Wisconsin Elks Association Scholarship

The Elks National Foundation is proud to announce the start of the 2019 Most Valuable Student scholarship contest.  The Most Valuable Student scholarship is available to high school seniors who are United States citizens.  Applicants do no need to be related to a member of the Elks. Males and females compete separately and are judged on scholarship, leadership and financial need.

Due Date: January 15, 2019

Tuition amounts vary and can be up to full tuition. Average tuition awards are $3,000 ($750 per semester for four semesters). Snap-on Tool sets may be awarded independently or in conjunction with tuition awards and have a retail value of $3,905. Students that are not already working in the automotive industry can receive employment assistance. The goal is to have all students working part-time while attending school to get on-the-job training and mentoring to enhance their education experience and graduate with a full-time job!

High school seniors and current technical college students that are in their first year of a two-year program are encouraged to apply.

Application deadline is January 15, 2019. Only students with complete application files by the deadline will be invited for a personal interview at a hosting dealership in their area. The interview is for the scholarship only, not employment.

alltech continuing education scholarship

Learning is a lifelong journey. At Alltech, it is our aim to cultivate curiosity and inspire innovation.  Therefore, Alltech Wisconsin is pleased to offer one $1000 scholarship to a student enrolled in a 4-year agricultural or life sciences degree program and two $500 scholarships to two students enrolled in vocational agriculture or technical programs.

wasbo foundation 2019 scholarship program

Due Date: February 1, 2019

Application Guidelines Scholarships will be awarded to successful candidates who are 2019 graduating high school seniors. Scholarship recipients may pursue any course of study. The scholarships will be awarded to students attending any accredited college or university (public or private). The objective of these awards is to provide financial assistance to deserving students. 

The information supplied by each scholarship applicant shall include the following: 

1. Completed one-sided application with no staples. 

2. Personal letter stating your goals and career objectives 

3. High school scholastic record 

4. One-page resume describing your participation in cocurricular activities, community service and employment 

5. Two letters of recommendation, including one from a community member and one from school district staff. 

6. Answer to the essay question listed on the scholarship application after interviewing the Superintendent, Business Manager or Bookkeeper from your school district which must be one typed page. 

7. Recent photograph (original, reprint on photo paper or electronic photo emailed to Kristin Hauser at kristin. hauser@wasbo.com). Photographs will not be returned and require printed name on back of all physical copies.

wisconsin rural schools alliance scholarship

Due Date:  February 15, 2019

The 2018-19 WiRSA Scholarship Applications are now online. The deadline for scholarship submission is February 15, 2019. WiRSA has always provided five scholarships to member school students, but beginning in 2018, we added an additional five scholarships for students specifically going into the field of education. I am excited to tell you that, in 2019, the amount of each scholarship will increase from $500 to $750.

To qualify, participating schools must be current paid members of WiRSA and Mishicot is a participating school!


Edward j shimanek memorial scholarship

Due Date: February 28, 2019

This scholarship is awarded to students pursuing an education in a criminal justice or police science related field and entering their first year of college.  Scholarship applicants must be residents of Manitowoc County.

manitowoc county sheriff's department association 2019 scholarship

Due Date: February 28, 2019

Recipients of the scholarship must be Manitowoc County residents.  The two $500 scholarships will be awarded with preference given to students pursuing a career in a criminal justice related field.

The Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 731, is offering up to Three $1000 scholarship to high school seniors who are residents of Manitowoc County.

Kohler Credit Union Scholarship

Due Date:  March 9, 2019

 This $10,000 scholarship will be awarded to students in renewable installments of $2500 each school year for up to four years.

The requirements for the scholarship are:

  • Student or parents must be Kohler Credit Union Members prior to the beginning of the school year (defined as 9/1/18)
  • Student must have a cumulative high school grade point of at least 3.25 
  • Student must have a definite plans to attend a 4-year college or university full-time in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Student must have a high school record that indicates achievement and high standards in scholarship, character, leadership, citizenship, and involvement in school and community activities.
