MISHICOT HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS

hayden's batten disease foundation High school scholarship

Due Date: April 15, 2019

Applicants for this scholarship will have a strong desire to work in the medical field.

Two scholarships $1,000 will be awarded to applicant’s who demonstrate strong academic success, are able to provide two letters of recommendation (one of which must be from a teacher or counselor), plan to enter into a health care career and illustrate an understanding of Batten Disease and how upon completing their college degree they would be able to assist person’s suffering from Batten Disease.

mishicot high school scholarship

Due Date: April 15, 2019

2- $500 scholarships will be awarded annually.  One will be awarded for a student attending a 4-year college/university or a 2-year UW college leading to a Bachelor's Degree, and one awarded for a student attending technical college.

Criteria:

  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Must have attended MHS junior and senior year
  • Financial Need - Students who have this need will be given priority
  • This scholarship is non-renewable

harvey and marie eis scholarship

Due Date:  April 15, 2019

This scholarship is worth a minimum of $1,000.  It can be renewed based on available funds and maintaining a 3.0 average.  There will be a minimum of two scholarships awarded each year.  Selection for this scholarship is primarily based on financial need with top priority given to students who do not receive other scholarships.

Criteria:

  • Must be a graduate of Mishicot High School and have attended at least the entire Junior and Senior years at MHS
  • Must have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0
  • Must have financial need
  • Must be accepted for enrollment at any university or technical college
  • Scholarship shall be granted at the beginning of the student's second semester enrollment.

E.j. meyer scholarship

Due Date:  April 15, 2019

Eligibility Standards:

  • Must be a graduate of Mishicot High School
  • Must have been enrolled as a student at MHS for at least their entire junior and senior years.
  • Must have attained a minimal grade point average of 2.75 throughout high school or for the junior and senior years.
  • Must be accepted for enrollment at a non private Wisconsin University or Technical College for the forthcoming school year.  Exceptions could be made for agriculture based studies.
  • Must maintain full time collegiate status by taking at least 12 credits per semester.
  • The student will receive $500 of the scholarship at the beginning of the student's first semester or enrollment and another $500 prior to the second semester of their first year of college.

Mishicot Lion's Club is offering two $250.00 nonrenewable scholarships to two Mishicot High School Seniors furthering their education through post secondary schooling.

Criteria:

  • Attended MHS their Junior and Senior year
  • Grade Point Average of at least a 3.0 based on seven semesters of high school
  • Display strong character
  • Provide service contributions to the community
  • Have financial need

joyce hutterer memorial scholarship

Due Date:  April 15, 2019

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be an active Mishicot FFA member
  • Available to those who plan to attend full time accredited school for an agriculture related degree and GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Complete a 200-300 word essay, typed and double spaced covering: What has been your participation in FFA?, or Future career plans, or How ou plan to stay involved in the agriculture industry.
  • Two letters of reference, with one being a non school source
  • List of activities or honors demonstrating leadership skills and community involvement.

manitowoc county bowling scholarship

Due Date:  April 15, 2019

Students must plan on being actively enrolled for the 2019-2020 academic year at an accredited junior or senior college or other training school. Applicants must have an amateur standing and must be a member of a MCBA sanctioned league or be a dependent or grandchild of a sanctioned member. Up to two scholarships for $500.00 will be awarded to the two selected winners. Selection criteria will be based on contributions to the sport of bowling and their community, scholastic record, and career goals. Scholarship recipients and parents are invited to the Annual Hall of Fame Banquet to receive their scholarship.

The commitment to Excellence scholarships will be awarded to a male and female student athlete who demonstrates a high level of involvement and commitment to sports.  Outside of athletics, the chosen candidate must also show dedication within their community, while excelling in the classroom.  The student-athlete must be enrolled in a Manitowoc County high school and have a minimum GPA of 3.75.

francis creek youth sports scholarship

The Francis Creek Youth Sports Scholarship is for graduating high school students that meet the following requirements:

  • Must have participated with the Francis Creek Youth Sports for at least 5 years of which 2 years must be during high school.
  • Must have helped with club and community projects
  • Volunteered in club duties for example: umpiring, concession stand, highway clean up.
  • Write a letter/essay explaining how you have fulfilled the requirements of each listed above.
  • Also include what you feel you gained by participating in the Francis Creek Youth Sports.
  • Dead line for scholarship letters/essay is due by May 15th 2019.

The Wisconsin Towns Association, Rural Mutual Insurance Company, and Scott Construction, Inc. will be awarding $7000 in scholarships to high school seniors graduating in 2019 from either a public or private high school in Wisconsin that plan ton enroll in a Wisconsin public or private college or a university in 2019.  The winners are determined by independent judging of an essay contest.
