The Department of Chemistry at UWSP urges qualified students to apply for the Trytten Scholarship, awarded annually to an incoming freshman who intends to major in Chemistry at UWSP.

The total amount of the award is $4,000, applied to your UWSP tuition each semester in the amounts of $200 for Freshman year, $400 the Sophomore year, $600 the Junior year, and $800 the Senior year.

To apply you must complete all sections of the Student Application Form, arrange to have a letter of recommendation submitted on your behalf by your high school chemistry teacher, have your high school guidance counselor submit the High School Recommendation Form and your high school transcript. dane county farmers market scholarship

The Dane County Farmers Market is offering two (2) scholarships to students studying agriculture or any agriculture related subject area. Students enrolled in two or four year programs are eligible to apply. Scholarship recipients will receive a $1100.00 scholarship. The scholarship will be payable, toward tuition, to the school the recipient is attending-one half in the fall semester, and one half in the spring semester. Payment of the scholarship each semester will be contingent on the continuing school eligibility criteria. The completed application must be received by the scholarship committee by Feb 1, 2018. Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than March 31, 2018.

To be eligible for this award, the student must:

  • Be a Wisconsin state resident
  • Be a high school senior

  • Oliver E. Sweikar Scholarship – Up to three $16,000 scholarships for students planning to pursue a career in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field at a 4-year college/university. The Eis Scholarship can be renewed based on available funds and maintaining a 3.0 average. There will be a minimum of two scholarships awarded each year. Selection for this scholarship is primarily based on financial need with top priority given to students who do not receive other scholarships.

  1. Must be a graduate of Mishicot High School

  4. Must be accepted for enrollment at a non-private Wisconsin University or Technical College for the forthcoming school year.  Exceptions could be made for agriculture based studies.
  5. Must maintain full time collegiate status by taking at least 12 credits per semester.

The Manitowoc County Bowling Association Scholarship Committee was been awarding scholarships to students pursuing an advanced education since 1992. A Manitowoc County Bowling Association scholarship is open to any High School Senior whose attends school in or whose primary residence is in Manitowoc County. Students must plan on being actively enrolled for the 2018-2019 academic year at an accredited junior or senior college or other training school. Applicants must have an amateur standing and must be a member of a MCBA sanctioned league or be a dependent of a sanctioned member. At least two scholarships for $500.00 will be awarded to the two selected winners. Selection criteria will be based on contributions to the sport of bowling and their community, scholastic record, and career goals. Scholarship recipients and parents are invited to the Annual Hall of Fame Banquet to receive their scholarship.

One scholarship will be awarded yearly to a deserving member of the Mishicot High School graduating class.  Applications can be turned into the Mishicot High School Student Services Office.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Mishicot Graduate majoring in exercise science, physical education, fitness, or a health related field
  • 3.0 or above GPA

  • Submit Letter of Application
    • Should address why applicant is looking to enter the field and how they will use their degree (limit 500 words)
  • Submit Activity Sheet-Should be titled HS Involvement
    • Should address all other activities inside and outside of school that the candidate has been involved with in high school (includes all other clubs, extracurriculars, work experience, community service, etc...)
